Filmography
I have done editing for more than 100 films, prominent among them being. Waaris, Ijaazat, Lekin, Teri Meharbanian and Ek Chaddar Maili Si. The last one fetched me a Filmfare Award as Best Editor. I have worked with leading filmmakers such as Ramanand Sagar and Gulzar. I have also done the editing for Punjabi films. Three of them Chann Pardesi, Marhi Da Diva and Kachheri won National Awards for best Film. My television credits include popular serials like Ramayan, Mirza Galib and Krishna. I have produced a serial for DD1 which was written by Gulzar.I have written and directed a feature film which was produced by Polygram(now Univerasal). The title of the film is PYAR KOI KHEL NAHIN and it starred SUNNY DEOL, MAHIMA CHAUDHARI, APOORVA AGNIHOTRI and others. I have been on the Screen awards selection panel as jury member 3 times. Also I have been a jury member for some other prestigious awards.
